Becky Woollin is a Strategic Evidence Officer currently focusing on dementia training for adult social care workers through equipping the Policy team with the right evidence and insight to drive their call for mandatory dementia training for care workers.\nAshton and Becky are co-authors of Alzheimer’s Society’s 2024 report, ‘Because we’re human too: why dementia training for care workers matters, and how to deliver it’, which will be the focus of their upcoming presentation. Ashton and Becky will provide a summary of the report, whilst exploring the significant benefits of dementia training to people living with dementia, care staff, care providers and the wider health and care system.
