Century milestone for a beloved resident of New Bradley Hall at Black Country Housing Group

Brenda Griffin, one of Dudley’s oldest residents, recently celebrated her 100th birthday at New Bradley Hall Residential Home in Kingswinford. Born on July 19, 1924, Brenda worked at Boots in Dudley for 39 years before retiring in 1985. She married Ben Griffin, and although they had no children, they enjoyed time with nieces, nephews, and friends’ children. After Ben’s passing in 2002, Brenda moved to the care home in 2022, where she is known for her cheerful nature and love of singing. Her milestone birthday was celebrated with a card from the King and Queen, as well as a party organised by her longtime friend, Eileen Brown.
