As part of National Apprenticeship Week, we’re celebrating the success of our Oaklea Apprentice Academy. One standout apprentice is Niamh Caffrey, who’s been working across South Lakes with social care teams in various settings. Over the past year, she’s gained valuable experience and learned a lot on the job, alongside her sessions at Kendal College. Niamh, who was our face of Apprenticeship Week last year, highly recommends the apprenticeship route, saying, “I’d definitely recommend being an Apprentice.” She’s currently working with teams at New Road, Kendal, and is looking forward to future challenges.
