The My Vote My Voice 2025 local elections campaign is in full swing, and we’d love for you to be part of it! Our campaign aims to encourage autistic adults and adults with learning disabilities to register and vote. Whether you have a little or a lot of time to give, there are many ways to take actions.
By the end of April 2025, we are aiming to:
- Recruit 50 additional local partners – focusing on areas with upcoming elections, as much as possible
- Reach 2000 additional voter registrations of autistic adults and adults with learning disabilities.
- Amplify the reach of our newly co-created easy-to-read resources – these newly developed resources focus on the role of local government and how to get involved in the democracy in your local community.
How You Can Take Action:
We know that you are incredibly busy which is why we have created campaigning toolkits to make your participation as easy and efficient as possible. You can help by agreeing to:
- Recruit a new partner to join our growing coalition of over 200 organisations
- Host a voter registration event and receive a small budget to make sure you’re not out of pocket.
- Share our newly co-created easy-to-read resources on the role of local government and the importance of getting involved in your local community.
- Share our existing resources on how to register and vote.
Special Recognition
If you or your organisation help recruit at least one new partner or host a voter registration event, we’ll highlight your contribution in our final campaign report which will be shared with the Electoral Commission and displayed on our website.
