Laurie Monaghan

Laurie manages the NCF Communities of Practice and other events, webinars and visits. Laurie also co-ordinates NCF Consult services, working closely with trusted, independent consultants to deliver high quality solutions for providers. Working closely with the Policy Team, she shares insights from the membership to influence NCF’s messaging and ensures our offer for members is responsive, relevant and timely within the wider context. She’s passionate about the potential of not-for-profit adult social care to empower people, connect and enrich local communities and contribute to prosperity across the whole country.

Laurie joined in 2023 as a Policy, Public Affairs and Research Intern and helped develop the NCF’s work on environmental sustainability, creating connections across the sector, influencing policy and supporting members. Before NCF, she worked in adult social care as a healthcare assistant in residential nursing care and a support worker in community based enablement services before going to university to study Natural Sciences.
