Alison Waller

Alison Waller is the Managing Director of Corserv Care, a Local Authority Trading Company owned by Cornwall Council that provides a range of services including reablement, home care, residential care and a 24/7 call monitoring and response service. Alison works in partnership across the integrated care system in Cornwall which includes building close partnerships across the voluntary sector to support local communities. A key focus area is the introduction of technology enabled care and the forging of partnerships to deliver innovative solutions to meet increasing needs. Alison has also developed workforce initiatives to help build capacity to support the most significant challenge across our sectors, workforce recruitment and retention.

Alison has previously worked as an Assistant Director of Commissioning for a large local authority and as a Commercial Director in a private care company and utilises her knowledge to help develop financial and commercial acumen across services that were previously provided within the local authority. Her work has focused on improving performance and the delivery of quality services to ensure future company growth and sustainability. Alison is focused on supporting the wider health and social care market to ensure the availability of social care services to meet the increasing demands of our population.

Alison’s values are aligned with those of the NCF and she would welcome an opportunity to be appointed to a non-executive role where she feels her skills and experience would be of benefit. The opportunity to help drive an organisation, support its members and contribute to a strong collective voice is something Alison would relish.
